Brandon Kim concentrates his practice on a wide range of litigation, defending large corporate clients, Class I railroads and small businesses against complex/catastrophic, general negligence, toxic tort claims, as well as construction and product liability claims. Brandon also defends municipalities, police departments, and police officers in alleged Section 1983 and police misconduct cases.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Brandon served for two years in The Republic of Korea Armed Forces. While serving his country, Brandon audited ROK TRANSCOM’s Transportation Benefit Program, and his work was reported to Korean National Assembly National Defense Committee. Brandon also participated in joint military exercises with the United States Army where he served as a translator for ROK TRANSCOM’s commander. Brandon received an Award of Recognition for his distinguished services.

Brandon earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law, graduating in 2020. While in law school, Brandon worked as a liaison for blockchain companies.
